Neptune Application Management and Submenus

Hi all,

I want to add a submenu to my bundle application, so I created a role-based menu item in 'Neptune Application Managment' and ticked the checkbox 'Submenu' in Tab 'Action'.

Unfortunately the submenu is not shown in '..bundle app', tab 'menu' when i click the 'Add menu' button.

Did I forgot something?

Thank you and best regards

Holger

Hi Holger

Did you also create menu items and set Submenu that you created ?

A Submenu will only be displayed if there is child menu items.

Hi Ole Andre,

yes I did. But the submenu cannot assigned to a bundle app in tab 'Menu'. Pressing the 'Add Menu' button does not show up the previously created submenu.

Hi Holger

The Submenu should appear in the "Add Menu" button for the Bundle App. Can you take screenshots of the Menu setup in NAM ?

Did you remember to check the "Tile Menu" option ?

Ole Andre

Hi Ole Andre,

I have taken some screenshots of the steps I've done in NAM.

Step 1: Creating the Sub menu and ticking the checkbox 'Sub Menu' and 'Tile Menu'

Step 2: Creating a sub-menu item and assign it to the sub menu

with an simple application assigned to it.

Step 3: Creating a bundle application with 'role based menu' option enabled.

and assign the sub menu

Step 4: Now I start the bundle application. As excpected a tile with the sub menu entry is displayed

Step 5: After clicking the tile the sub menu remains empty. No sub menu entries are shown up now

Thank you and Best regards

Holger

Hi Holger

You also need to include the "Sub Menu Item" in the Menu for the Bundle app. I see that you only have 1 menu assigned and it should be both menus.

Hi Ole-Andre,

thanks a lot. Now it works as expected.

Best regards
Holger
