Phonegap Build hosted Plugins November 15th 2016

Hi,

Quick reminder for those who are encountering problems when building in Adobe Phonegap Build.

Phonegap public repository is being shut down on November 15th 2016.

This means that all public plugins AND Cordova / PhoneGap core plugins must be retrieved from public repositories such as git or npm.

What does it mean ?

That if your app does not build, you must adapt your config.xml file.

How do I fix it ?

If you have an older Neptune UXP release and your config.xml has plugins using source = 'pgb', please change it to source='npm'.

Example

<plugin name="cordova-plugin-battery-status" source="pgb" />    --> wrong

<plugin name="cordova-plugin-battery-status" source="npm" />   --> correct

If you are running Neptune UXP 4.0 SP02,  there is no need to worry about this issue.

Cheers,

Julian
