I have a requirement to print a label from Neptune App onto a ZEBRA printer. The Challenge here is that there will not be any Wifi connectivity in the construction site, but we want the capability to scan a label and print it to a portable printer (either via USB or Bluetooth).
Does Neptune support printing label without SAP connectivity?
some partners have implemented this for customers. Basically you have to use the following plugin:
Zebra printers use they Zebra command language: https://support.zebra.com/cpws/docs/zpl/zpl_manual.pdf
Thank you Julian!
I will try this out in the system and reach out to you in case of any further clarifications.
Appreciate your help!
You are welcome, Bala! Have a nice weekend.
I see that the MAC address of the printer needs to be set in the Java file. Does it mean we can use only one printer?
Have you started playing with it ? You can have as many MAC addresses as you want. The MAC does not have to be hard-coded.

Thanks Julian! I really appreciate your insight on this.
I have not started playing with it. I'm in the process of documenting the design and propose the solution to the client.
We are looking to build the app for Windows 10 device. Will this zebra printer plugin work for Windows?
Unfortunately I do not know. In the case I know they were using Android. :(
There is only one way to know, right ? :)
Do you already have Windows devices or are you considering buying them ?
Best of luck !
