Git integration for JavaScript

Hi there,

we are using a lot of JavaScript right now. At some point using the internal version management becomes pretty confusing. It would be great to have the possibilty to use git (and maybe something like WebStorm) to handle hugh JavaScript projects.

Kind regards,

Rico

Hi Rico

I guess you will love our new Web Designer. A new IDE based on UI5, and much easier to handle large JS projects.

Example: All javascript editors open in a new tab, for easy jump between the editors. You can also use "forward navigation" inside the editor ans jump to the right JS method or UI Object.

Example: Showing the app while you code it. Clicking on objects in the preview tab, we will mark the element in the UI tree.

Git integration will be consider implemented during Q3 for our Web Designer.

Hi Ole,

this sounds pretty nice, even if its not a git integration ;)

Is there a way to use this Web Designer or is it still only usable for example apps?

Rico

Hi Rico

We will release the Web Designer in the end of next week. So not many days left now.
